At the top of my daily obsession list right now is GOOP’s garden party video. Click here if you missed that article. In second spot, check it – the cover art for Britney Spears’s new song:

Work B**ch

There’s a lot going on here all at once.

First of all, I love it. I love it because it reminds me of 2002. That’s almost her face in 2002, non? It’s almost her hair too. I’m not even going to do it for you. Google it yourself, fall into a Britney 2002 wormhole. Don’t you miss her?

The problem, of course, is that it’s not real. The Britney we remember flamed out. The Britney we remember was pushed so hard, worked so relentlessly, that there was nothing left.

Work B**ch seems… appropriate, non? Probably unintentional, but still. Work B**ch is what she was. She WORKED. That’s all she did. She worked and worked and worked and she fell down and they’re still making her work and work and work.

Work B**ch, co-written with Will.I.Am. drops on Monday. She’s to appear on Good Morning America on Tuesday thought it’s not yet confirmed if she’ll be performing.
