Britney Spears posted 3 dance clips of herself on Instagram yesterday. She looks great. As fit as she’s been in years. And some of that old energy in her eyes.

I wish I could say something about Britney that’s related to what she’s thinking but the fact is, we don’t know what she’s thinking. Britney is a Rooster. Again, she and Beyonce are the same age. As often repeated, Duana and I love this fun celebrity fact. Beyonce doesn’t speak publicly anymore. By design, because she’s a mystery now. She’d rather be studied than understood. Britney too isn’t much of a talker. Also by design. A very different design. Beyonce is protected for brand strategy. Britney is just… protected.
For Britney then, social media is the perfect way to show that she can communicate, within limits. And what she’s communicating to us here is that she’s feeling herself right now. That she might be working on new material. Updating her show or readying a new album. So, supposedly, is Beyonce. Rooster albums!
