I love these photos. And I believe them.
Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann, and Kate Upton have been everywhere together the last few weeks to promote The Other Woman. Today they were in NY for the morning shows. I'm all about how Cam's leaning into Leslie who's touching her face, smoothing hair off her forehead. It's how tactile they seem to be with one another. It's the implied closeness behind their physical comfort, something we lose from childhood. I'm not particularly tactile and that comes from my ma, who can't bear physical affection. But there's something genuinely sisterly here that I find really cute and really irresistible, like I want to be a part of it. And I wonder whether or not that's what it's like to be friends with Cam -- always warm and close and fun. Do you think she's the same way with Gwyneth Paltrow?
We've seen it, haven't we? When they go out they hold hands, their arms are around each other, and when Cam told that story once of her friend with the full bush and having to hold her down to trim it, I imagined it was the two of them on a sleepover. That's what she really should be GOOPing about, instead of f-cking recipes.
