May not like all her movies but Cameron Diaz is undeniably a Movie Star. And she received her star on the Walk of Fame yesterday, timed of course to coincide with the release of her latest My Sister’s Keeper this weekend. Cam’s last release, What Happens in Vegas, was the romcom hit of summer 2008. The studio now is banking on her to carry another win. Only this time it’s a weepy drama that has already seen its share of controversy because, rumour has it, they changed the ending.

It was during production of My Sister’s Keeper that Cam’s father passed away suddenly last year. She was understandably emotional yesterday at the event, supported by family and many famous friends including Lucy Liu and Lake Bell, even Tom Cruise and Robo, but curiously not Drew Barrymore.

Come to think of it, it’s been a while since they’ve been spotted out together in public. Do you smell something? I smell something. I smell disapproval.

Cameron visited Conan last night after the ceremony and her legs were definitely not as greasy as Gwyneth’s on the same couch.
