Jessica Biel, the girl with the brilliant publicist, the girl who has somehow landed on the It List solely by virtue of a really toned body and dating Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel is now trying to leverage more fame by going toe to toe with the Ex…yet another example of why she’ll never be able to make it on her own.

There was an item the other day in Page Six – logistical drama causing nightmare for organizers of the MTV Movie Awards this weekend because of a potential showdown between Pip and his girls. Both Cameron and Jessica are scheduled to present and therefore walk the carpet. Normally the later arrival time is reserved for someone like Cam, with a legitimate and universally recognized track record to back up her fame qualifications… unlike the Shelf Ass whose resumé is actually less impressive than Mischa Barton’s.

And still, according to the sources, because Jessica is now dating Justin Timberlake, she may be given the honour of coming after Cam, especially if she arrives on Justin’s arm. Cam apparently is livid about the potential snub and so staffers are working overtime to avert the collision.

Oh really? Do you smell what I smell? Do you smell a spoonfed leak from Camp Biel? Because that’s EXACTLY what I smell.

And that’s why I’m actually hearing that Cam is laughing it off, calling her rival “desperate and pathetic”, and “workin’ it a little too hard”. Word is Biel has been obsessed with finding the perfect outfit, is hellbent on killin’ it on the carpet, all eyes on her, all eyes on her bottom, a bottom that will hopefully deliver more movie roles…

Which is why Cam is considering going in the opposite direction. Rumour has it, right now, she’s asking Rachel Zoe to find a very funky top to go over jeans, leaning towards playing it low key and letting the lapdog go overboard on effort.
