PEOPLE is calling it a relationship. Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden. Well, they’re getting papped together without diving into dumpsters (click here for a refresher) so, yeah, I’d say it’s a relationship.
According to PEOPLE’s source, “the relationship sort of hit Cameron out of nowhere” but she’s not putting any pressure on what they have, taking it “one step at a time”. OK. So step 1 might lead eventually to step 2 and 3 and 4 and 5. What’s step 5? Says the source:
"She's at a point in her life where she would love to settle down, but for now with Benji it's about being happy and taking things as they come. She's happy … really happy."
Yeah but she’s been happy for a while. She seemed really happy during her book tour. And, really, over the last year. Look at her last night at the Jane Fonda AFI Tribute. There’s a calm contentment she’s been wearing even before Benji happened. And it’s good on her.
