Cameron Diaz arrived in Miami on Monday. Not sure why but... hopefully not to get in front of Alex Rodriguez. Her friend Leonardo DiCaprio is there too though and they’ve been known to hang out and, you know, do what they do, casually, without commitment, when there are no other options...
But would Gwyneth Paltrow approve?
The UK Sun reported yesterday that Cam has made G her “life coach” and a source tells the too often unreliable paper that:
“Gwyneth’s sorted out everything from finances to hooking her up with her trainer. She has also forced (Cameron) to swear off sex for a year, saying men distract her focus.”
If they had only stopped at the finances and the trainer and not included the bit about the swearing off of the sex for a year because then I’d find it more believable. My G would never tell Cam not to have sex. It’s not the sex she has a problem with, it’s WHO she’s having sex with. G wants to control the partners but she’d never control the act. And besides, with a girl like Cam, sending her off to have sex is, sorry to say it, a way to get her out of the house for a few hours. So G can go back to baking.
As for dictating the other aspects of her life...
A few weeks ago Page Six noted that Cam was no longer working with stylist Rachel Zoe. Zoe has dressed Cam for a long time. The item was buried in pre-holiday traffic and barely picked up. At the time I remember thinking that that must have been a Gwyneth decision. Zoe doesn’t seem like she’d be a Paltrow kind of girl. Did I just make you like Rachel Zoe?
Since then, Cam hasn’t really had opportunity to show her post-Zoe carpet style. Am very much looking forward to this: Cameron Diaz by Gwyneth Paltrow.
