I can’t find any photos of Cameron Diaz on a red carpet in 2015. The last I remember her being on a red carpet was to promote Annie in December 2014. Two weeks after that she got married. And then Cam, one of the most well paid actresses in the world for a while, went quiet for a year. She hasn't actually been on a film set since Annie. And there’s been nothing announced for her either.

Instead, it seems she’s been working on her next book. It’s due in April, called The Longevity Book: The Science of Aging, the Biology of Strength, and the Privilege of Time. She’s on the cover, with very casual hair, and a natural, realistic, very well-lit face:

That might be the next time we hear from Cam, when’s promoting her book. Will she promote it by presenting at any of the award shows? I think I miss her at award shows. But if I’m her publicist, I’m like, being at an award show probably isn’t the best fit if you’re publicising the book.

Here’s Cam leaving a friend’s yesterday in an oversize sweater wearing a big ring which has now prompted tabloid speculation that she’s pregnant. For the third time since she got married.

Cameron was born in the Year of the Rat. Rats are supposed to have a pretty smooth year. And in particular, as I wrote yesterday – click here for a refresher - 1972 Rats, and she’s one of them, who work in media or communications will see professional gains. That’ll work out well for her book. Benji Madden is a Goat. We haven’t gotten to Goats yet during the 12 Days of Chinese New Year but I can tell you now that 1979 Goats might enjoy some good times during the Year of the Monkey too. They could have a lot to celebrate in 2016.
