Here are Cameron Diaz and Colin Firth at the London premiere of Gambit tonight. Gambit will be released in the UK on November 21. I haven’t been able to find a US date yet which isn’t a good sign. And, as I wrote last month, if you’ve seen the trailer, that probably doesn’t surprise you. It looks terrible, at least in the preview. And if it’s not actually terrible, they should bury this clip and never let it be shown again.
As for Cam and her love situation...
Earlier this week, US Weekly reported that she was seated next to Robert Pattinson at an event recently and she would have straddled him at the table but #RobstenIsUnbroken:
"She was pretty obvious," says one of three witnesses who watched Diaz come on to the Twilight star, 26. "Cam was seated next to Rob at dinner. She was touching his arm, doing her big Cameron laugh at everything he said and trying really hard. He was polite, but not having it."
Don’t ever let them tell you gossip blogs aren’t useful, OK? A gossip blog could have helped Cam Diaz avoid embarrassment. And a friend like Gwyneth should have sent her the link. Not only to inform her that Robert Pattinson wasn’t available but also to warn her about inviting the Twi-Hard crazy into her life.
Can you imagine how enraged they must have been?

Because Cam’s got some unhinged business in her too. Cam doesn’t have GOOP’s restraint. That confrontation, if she ever threw down with a deranged Twi, that would be fun to watch.
