Carey Mulligan is indeed in Australia working on The Great Gatsby. Last night she stepped out with Tobey Maguire and some friends to see Can We Talk About This at the Sydney Opera House. Leonardo DiCaprio was not with them. Or, if he was, he wasn’t photographed. I wonder if going to a play is Leo’s down time thing. His down time pursuits are often, um, less cerebral.

But can we talk about Carey’s bone structure? Her lovely delicate face? Her understated beauty? Ever since she talked to me about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at Comic-Con my boner for her has been raging. Now I’m looking at her little purse. Sasha wears little purses like this too. I don’t. And I don’t understand how. Because my wallet, or my old wallet before it was stolen, is way too big for that.

I prefer wallets shaped like a note of currency. Long and rectangular. Bigger. Jammed with my sh-t. That rules out these cute little purses. And taking all my baggage out just to change up purses is too much of a pain in the ass.

Anyway, I’ve actually not replaced my wallet yet. It’s been over 3 months and I’ve been using a Buddhist prayer book temporarily which has almost become permanently. Have decided I will buy myself a wallet for my birthday in exactly a month, major hint to my friends. Do I need to rethink the size?
