What to make of this?

The Daily Mail, which is full of sh-t daily, reported yesterday that Carey Mulligan’s hen night happened two weeks ago. Carey is engaged to Marcus Mumford. And, obviously, a hen night usually precedes an actual wedding.

The two spent a super casual Easter weekend with his parents. The Mail has those photos here. The paper also reports that the two will marry by the end of the month. Carey and Marcus have been together just over a year.

True or bullsh-t?

No idea. On the one hand, the Mail hasn’t been as wrong as it usually is re this couple and was very specific about the hen night details etc. On the other hand, Carey keeps her sh-t pretty tight. Remember she accompanied Marcus to the White House a month ago for a state dinner and managed to NOT be photographed, not even once? At the White House!!!

I suppose the timing works...if it does happen within the next 2 weeks. That allows for a short honeymoon before Carey has to be back in New York for the Met Gala on May 7th. Carey is co-chairing this year alongside Anna Wintour and Miuccia Prada. I LOVE this event. We ALL love this event. And I would love if Carey and Marcus made their Mrs & Mr debut at this event even though it’s totally not her style. B-roll for years!
