We’re less than two weeks away now from the release of The A-Team. I can’t wait. It looks bad. And this is good. Because you don’t go to The A-Team expecting The Hurt Locker anyway.

The stars of the movie, without their leader Liam Neeson/Hannibal, were at the Coca-Cola 600 Nascar race in Charlotte yesterday on a promotional gig. Many of you fell in love with Sharlto Copley in District 9, very well cast as Murdoch, seen here hanging out with Rampage Jackson who plays B.A. Baracus.

And of course Shelfy Biel, in white pants and great shoes, happy to promote a new movie for a change, even though in the trailer, her line delivery for “they are the best and the specialise in the ridiculous” sounds like an audition. But let’s not spend too much time on her talent deficit when we could be enjoying the Bradley Cooper.

Laura and I must have watched it at least half a dozen times in Cannes because he’s so hot in these 2 and a half minutes, I can’t imagine what it’s going to be like for 90. It’s the laughing. Such a cocky son of a bitch quivering laugh, it’s perfect for summer blockbuster mindlessness. When he’s lipping off in that bathroom followed by “good morning!” – yes, there is some action happening very much. And that shot of his face at the very end, like there’s nothing he enjoys better than some man time? Please. The moists.

The A-Team opens on June 11th.
