Being an Oscar winner means you get to go on a one-year victory tour at various ceremonies, with none of the awards season pressure and all of the schmoozing fun. Can you imagine that joy? This is Cate Blanchett.

This time, she's back at the Independent Spirit Awards as a returning champion. With less than a month to go until the release of Cate's new movie Cinderella, she's reminding us of that by wearing a Schiaparelli dress in the hue of the film's famous blue.

Between that and her cerulean Brian Atwood pumps, she's also giving us a callback to Blue Jasmine. She does all of this and isn't too on the nose. And why not? This printed heart dress would look so twee on Taylor Swift. Actually, if you think about it, she and Cate share a "lob" hairstyle and height save for their age difference. But Cate's poise pushes this ensemble past the Manic Pixie Dream Girl mould and into one of elegance and grace without a hint of snobbery.
