Probably one of the most polarising looks of the night. A lot of people don’t get it. What’s the problem? This is Louis Vuitton. From the same collection where Nicolas Ghesquire sent out a selection of the most amazing shoes and booties I’ve seen in a long time – on display at the MET Gala on Michelle Williams, Selena Gomez, and Alicia Vikander. I’ve been saving for those booties. I need at least 3 pairs. And that’s my only complaint about this look on Cate.

I like the modification from silver to black for Cate. But I wish she hadn’t gone with a plain black pump. I wish she would have chosen a shoe with a chunkier heel, a little more edge. Otherwise, it’s an amazing dress
