Those kids… you had to see those kids! In person those kids made the night. Look at them all dressed up and excited!
It was bedtime for them when I was leaving the press room. Ran into the Slumdog child contingent on their way out of the Governor’s Ball. Two of the boys skipped up the escalators. The little girl who played Latika was holding onto her handler, clutching the hem of her pretty dress, yawning. All around them people were pointing and waving. And they were waving back. They probably have no idea. And this is why they charmed the entire crowd.
Even the Brange. But of course the Brange. The Brange probably tried to take one of them home. See attached photo of the kids meeting Brad. Come on. He might not be your favourite but that sh-t is pretty cute.
