But on Tuesday she was holding hands with a boy called Julian Moraes in New York. And apparently it’s Julian who is her real boyfriend. Julian is apparently in college which, for 17 year old Chloe, makes a lot more sense. Brooklyn is 15.
So maybe we all just jumped to conclusions. Maybe two teenagers should be allowed to be friends and we’re the assholes who assumed that it was more. That said, it’s not like they minded, right? And it’s not like Julian has been present as much as Brooklyn. But Julian isn’t the son of David and Victoria Beckham, obviously. Julian showing up somewhere doesn’t get anyone interested. Are we being played? Or have we become too cynical to appreciate adolescent innocence?
