Cindy Crawford is currently promoting her new book Becoming. It’s a memoir. With pictures! Pictures from 80s modelling. So I have to have it. But specifically I’d like to receive it as a gift, like a stocking stuffer at Christmas. I will also be giving it as a gift to people who grew up in the 80s. People like me who cut out model shots from ELLE and VOGUE back in the day. No actual interest in the clothes but it was all about the models – Cindy, Christy, Naomi, Tatiana, Linda, Helena. I had them all over an entire wall. My dad was always bitching about me ripping the paint off.
Will she reveal everything? Will she be talking sh-t about Richard Gere? Will she talk about what it’s been like to witness the revolving door of George Clooney love? Doubtful. But I don’t expect it and so I don’t care. I just want the stories from the shoots. And the memories from working with those designers and photographers. And did I mention pictures? Pictures!
