True Detective Season 2 premieres on HBO on June 21 right after the current season of Game Of Thrones comes to an end. Even though that’s still 7 weeks away and they’re still shooting the final episodes, Colin Farrell just gave an interview to The Sunday Times. Early promotion?

He talks about his career. About how he’s overcome the tumult of his early years to a place of stability now. Now? Colin is quiet. Really quiet. There’s no drama. There’s no gossip. And that’s probably because there’s no romance. He tells the paper that it’s been four years.

“There is not one - zilch, nada. I have not dated for, ooh, four years now. It's just not happening, what with the work, the kids and my life. I know it's not what people expect to hear, but that's the honest truth.”

Is there a Tinder for celebrities? Because, God, that’s a long time. I can understand 4 years without dating. But for him, because, you know, we’ve seen how he works, 4 years sex-dry seems almost painful.

Here’s Colin on set on Friday with Rachel McAdams. These are the kind of shots that magazines start rumours over. And I’m actually surprised there haven’t been any yet about these two.
