I thought I was dreaming partway through the Critics’ Choice Awards last night because…there on stage… two Asians were presenting together. It was Constance Wu and Randall Park from Fresh Off The Boat. When’s the last time you saw that happen?

Constance was also nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy Series, along with Tracee Ellis Ross and Gina Rodriguez, on the weekend that Ride Along 2 won the box office and America celebrated Martin Luther King Jr Day, the 30th anniversary of the holiday, highlighting even more the disappointment of the Oscar nominations announced. Last week I wondered about Chris Rock and what his response was going to be when he hosts the show. In case there was any doubt, here’s what he tweeted on Friday:
