I never imagined I’d be obsessed with a red suede suit. But I never imagined this suit. I’m not even sure it’s a suit. Because you could certainly wear the dress on its own and it’s long enough in any environment, even to meet the queen. Putting the dress over the pants, however, is the genius here. And the key is the length of the pants with the slight flare at the hem.
Really into the shoe choice too. If I saw these shoes on their own, it’d be a hard pass, but the way Dakota Johnson’s been styled, with the short bell pants and the shift, it’s a 70s throwback but also totally modern. SO GOOD.
