David Beckham is loving Milan. And right now Milan is loving David Beckham. He scored on the weekend and he scored again yesterday – two goals, two games, and now a controversy mounting… two teams.

As you know, Becks is on loan to AC Milan from the LA Galaxy for two months. He has admitted that he’s considering staying:

"To play here is the dream of any player. But deciding is not easy, it's a situation that requires time. I am under contract [with LA Galaxy] and I have a lot of respect for them. But the possibility to play at Milan is something special. I knew I would have fun but I didn't expect to have so much fun. In any case, I am a very respectful person.

The truth is that the Americans are doing everything to improve the level and reputation of their football. The league in the USA is young. I think ten years have to go by to achieve results.

I have to admit that, having played in Europe, at times it has been frustrating to take part in certain games [in the MLS]. But once in a while, going from state to state, I have also had fun."

Becks is starting to believe he can compete on a European level again. England coach Fabio Capello was at the game last night and many say he could be calling on Becks to play for England next month against Spain. Becks has said in the past that he’d like to represent the English team at World Cup 2010. Needless to say, the only way he can get to that level is if he stays in Europe…

Of course this is where it gets smutty.

Because they’ve moved to LA. And Victoria has thrived in LA. And their boys are in LA. And so it means more time apart, more time alone…

UK gossips are already sniping that the two have been arguing about what this means for their family. Also goes without saying what happens when she’s not around.

This is Becks during the match yesterday. He looks SO GOOD in that jersey. And his hair, it’s growing, I love.
