Middle aged man, another cliché…

It’s one thing to be at the centre of a scandal, but for someone like David Duchovny, to be textbook is almost worse.

On the heels of their separation announcement, a separation that occurred well before his stint in rehab for sex addiction, it’s now emerged that David Duchovny was allegedly having an affair with his 28 year old tennis coach.

Of course he was.

Her name is Edit Pakay. She’s leggy and sexy – allegedly – and she couldn’t cut it on the circuit but, unlike Anna Kournikova, who also couldn’t cut it on the circuit, Edit couldn’t cut it as a model either. Which is why she’s now a California club pro without her own calendar.

She’ll tell you this was never her intention – that she decided not to turn pro because she aspired to a life of tranquility and anonymity.

This must be why she sat down with a British tabloid the other day to tell them that she didn’t want to tell them anything while telling them everything in between.

Golddiggers are a predictable breed.

Said Edit about David: We have a very, very close friendship. I don't want to be the third person in the marriage but I know it can be seen that way. David and I are very close friends and we still play tennis together. He's an excellent player. He likes physically strong, fit women. 'He is in great shape. He is a wonderful man. He's a very intelligent, very kind and good man. I wasn't instantly attracted to him. What is great about David is his intelligence and kindness. He is the sort of person you get to like more the more you know him.'

As for whether or not they had an affair: 'I don't want to say anything that might hurt David. I am not going to deny it. I don't know what our relationship means to him.'

But of course that isn’t stopping “her friends” from talking...

According to her confidants:

“This is a love affair. This is a real relationship. Edit is in love with David. He told her he was going to leave his wife for her. Edit thinks this relationship is going somewhere. The physical side of it has been going on for at least six months, probably longer. The reason she won't tell everything is because she thinks David is going to be with her. Edit is a very attractive, sensual woman. She's only 28 but she knows the power she has over men. She is an innocent in some ways but, with David, the attraction was mutual. She never set out to seduce him. But she's a gorgeous woman and he is a highly sexed man. 'It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. The sad truth is Edit fell in love with David. He told her he loved her and she believed him.'

And you totally believe her right? That she never set out to seduce him?

Absolutely you do.

As for Duchovny’s side of the story, his rep insists that “there is no romantic relationship and never has been”.

Which means he just f&cked her and couldn’t remember her name the next morning.

The problem?

Never f&ck with a golddigger.

Here are Edit’s ominous last words:
'I might talk more later. At the moment I cannot. I have a lot of pride. If I talk about my relationship-with David, people will think I am just some girl who talks to the Press. I am not like that. If you want to write that we have an affair then fine. I will not argue against it. Nor will David. But he cannot talk about it because he is going through a divorce and nor can I. It is a very difficult time. I am sure you will appreciate that.'

Téa needs to hire KFed’s divorce lawyer. Because otherwise, this little Edit is trouble. Very, very expensive trouble.
