There’s a random rumour circulating that Glee’s Dianna Agron is a potential candidate to play Johanna Mason in Catching Fire, the sequel to The Hunger Games. Please note however that I can’t find ANY legit source to support this report.

Would you buy Dianna Agron as the cunning, savvy Johanna? Maybe she’s been limited on Glee. Maybe underneath she’s the range of Mia Wasikowska. Maybe you’re better at convincing yourself of things that seem impossible. This is not one of my strengths. As you know, Kristen Bell has long been lobbying for the role. Now her I might be able to get behind.
In other casting news, there was another bogus claim last week that Robert Pattinson was being considered for Finnick. That was killed immediately. Repeat: Robert Pattinson will NOT be Finnick. But I do have some interesting updates for you on the Finnick front that I’m waiting to firm up. Check back tomorrow. I’m not sure how happy you’ll be about that either.
Here’s Dianna at Joel Silver’s annual Memorial Day party in Malibu yesterday. His guests have been slightly more high end in years past. There has to be a parallel here between the sh-tty economy and celebrity.
