This story on Page Six made me laugh today.

So Madonna went to the screening of 12 Years A Slave the other night at the New York Film Festival. According to a Page Six source:

A spy said that as the movie began, “a blonde in black lace gloves wouldn’t stop texting,” seated in a row with Jason Ritter, J. Alexander and Michael K. Williams. Finally, an audience member asked the blonde to stop, and the gloved one shot back: “It’s for business . . . enslaver!” During a roaring standing ovation, the blonde ducked out, and, “Sure enough, in black lace gloves, was Madonna!”

God I wish we could have a recording of this.

“It’s for business…enslaver!”

Can you imagine? Can you imagine going to see a movie about a man who was actually enslaved and insisting that you’ve been enslaved because you want to keep using your smartphone?!?!?

And that’s what Madonna considers enslavement? When she’s asked to be courteous?

The new slavery: manners!

No. Madonna would never, ever, ever behave this way. You don’t believe she did this, do you? You couldn’t possibly.
