Mary Kate Olsen hair circa 2008ish? Not a dissimilar trajectory when you think about it, really, although MK and Ashley are much wealthier having benefited from a more lucrative tween market in their generation and an entrepreneurialism that kicked in earlier.
Anyway, Drew Barrymore is currently in London with her boyfriend or just friend, whatever stopped caring, Justin Long to promote their movie Going the Distance. I don’t know, to me it looks awful, like complete and total the sh-ts. I could be wrong. Its release date however, getting buried the last weekend before Labour Day weekend, doesn’t suggest much confidence. I suppose a sleeper hit is always possible.
Does it freak you out when Drew gets dressed up? I can never properly articulate why this is for me. Just that every time she gets all “prepared”, even if she’s wearing the most exquisite Oscar de la Renta, it always feels like there’s a child in adult’s clothing.
She’ll be making the rounds the next couple weeks on the sell. Maybe I’ll change my mind.
