Remember that movie, Autumn in New York, with Winona Ryder and Richard Gere? It was on tv the other night and I watched while I was brushing my teeth. I remember thinking it was embarrassingly bad back then. Over time it gets even worse. I love looking at Winona. I could not look at her in that film. How do they get through lines without dropping character, like, really? Would anyone actually say this sh-t?

Anyway, it is autumn but Drew Barrymore is not in New York. At least not at the end of September when these photos were taken and I’m not sure why they’re only being released now. Can we still call them new if they’re old but never been seen? No matter. She was/is not in New York and she is/was in Rome  with her boyfriend Will Kopelman, as loved up as she’s ever been, as she always is. Every 3 years or so. They spent the day sightseeing at the Pantheon where she got down on the ground for a different perspective (or she just wanted to stretch) and then headed over to the Trevi Fountain and along the way there was a lot of kissing and hugging and smiling and some roses too.

Drew’s next movie is Big Miracle opening in February. It’s the true story of - sob! - three whales that get trapped in the ice and an Alaskan community’s efforts to free them.
