Anyway, I just asked the internet to tell me the designer for Eddie and Hannah and it turns out it’s Valentino. I love this. I love that Maria Grazia Chiur and Pierpaolo Piccioli (what a great f-cking name), the creative directors of Maison Valentino, have updated a throwback, inspiring themselves from the vault. It wasn’t the most compelling look of the night, of course not. And there was no adherence to the theme either. But it’s not lazy. You’re not skipping over them right away.
