Eddie Redmayne and Hannah Bagshawe left LA yesterday to return to London, just in time for Christmas and a break from the campaign. That’s why he was in Hollywood. To support The Danish Girl, of course, but also, at the same, to secure his second nomination in a row for Best Actor. It feels like the same format he followed last time – the hustle was subtle, which seems like an oxymoron, but it’s a lot of face time, at luncheons and bruncheons and person to person interaction that doesn’t always make headlines and end up phtographed but that definitely leaves an impression. Eddie’s not going to let Leo walk away with it either. And Eddie’s a lot better at fronting like he actually wants to be somewhere, talking to someone, than Leo, who, well, is only really there because he wants your vote.
