Emily Blunt and John Krasinski shopping together on Robertson yesterday. Adorable, right? Even better – they split up for their own stores. She hit Lisa Kline, he was in John Varvatos, then they met up again to go home.

Emily can currently be seen in Sunshine Cleaning (limited release) and in the UK in The Young Victoria which has received solid reviews but still – f*CK! – the film has not confirmed a North American release date. Because everyone is tying up their money with sh-t ass offerings like the Fast and the Furious and JailBait Montana. An entire generation raised to believe Miley is a worthier role model than Queen Victoria.

Stab me in the eye!

As for John…have you seen the trailer for Away We Go?

Already know I will love this movie and it’s not due out til June. Has nothing to do with it being co-written by Dave Eggers, or that it’s directed by Sam Mendes (vindication hopefully for the woefully overlooked Revolutionary Road), or that it also stars Maya Rudolph and I love Maya Rudolph, or that Maggie Gyllenhaal, LOVE Maggie Gyllenhaal, makes what looks like a brilliant and hilarious cameo appearance, or that it has that Juno/Little Miss Sunshine feel about it, a possible Little Movie That Could of the 2009/2010 season…

Nope, nothing to do with all that.

It’s the way I feel every time I watch the clip. And it’s been 4 or 5 times now. Something small that grows. Strangely enough I also get very emotional at certain parts. Like if someone forced me at gunpoint to have a child with my husband, this might be the movie that would make me hate myself less about the whole thing.

Maybe that’s not the best way to sell it…

Anyway… Away We Go, June 5th, can’t wait.
