There were a few braid crowns last night at the Globes. Joanne Froggatt, who won for Downton Abbey, was probably the worst. Emily Blunt probably did it the best. But that’s also helped by her highlights. If the hair is just dark, it’s almost not worth it. You can never see it.
As for her dress, she’s wearing Michael Kors. I don’t think it “sat” very well which, I guess, is one way to maintain good posture at the table. It’s fiiiine. It’s not what I’m going to remember about her appearance though. What I’ll remember, apart from the braid, are her accessories. The earrings, the bracelet, without that, the entire look is pretty flat.
