When was the last time you saw Eminem posing at a photo wall? It doesn’t happen. He’s basically a recluse. But last night Dr Dre and Jimmy Iovine were honoured at WSJ Magazine’s Innovator Awards. Out of respect for those two, Eminem made a rare appearance. He even smiled a little. And he spoke too:
The lines and angles on his face are so hard now. Some people are always fighting themselves inside their own heads and you can’t tell from the outside, from the outside they’re angels. For others, that struggle shows up everywhere, multiple warzones on their foreheads, in the spaces under their eyes and around their mouths. Do you see this on Eminem?
