I should like this dress more than I do. It’s caped. Which is always one of my favourite features. But … there’s something about the material here. Is it too… stiff?
What’s bothering me is the placement of the darts around her breasts. I hate breast darts. Remember Anne Hathaway’s pink Prada at the Oscars a few years ago?

And that’s my problem with this Emilia Wickstead on Emma Watson. That and the rigidity of the fabric, the way it doesn’t fall smoothly to the floor, almost like it’s taffeta… I can’t love it.
