Sasha was right. After I finally had a full length look at it, she was totally right. Evan Rachel Wood’s black beaded amazingness was indeed the best of the night.

I’m not saying it could have stood up to the bests of other award nights because, let’s be honest, last night was so much, too much, medium, more medium than we’ve seen in a long time. But ERW’s Elie Saab was a welcome alternative to all that TV red, and certainly a lot more exciting than those neutral nudes, and infinitely more interesting than the ones who played it super safe. Yes, I’m talking to you Rashida Jones. Love her, hated the pink SO much.

Evan’s short hair seems to have opened up so many new style flavours and possibilities. Am very much enjoying her ride. Press tour for The Ides of March is coming up soon. There’s a lot to look forward to.
