Zara Phillips was married two weeks ago. Then she had to go right back to riding horses. Then on Wednesday (August 10) she was at the Artemis Challenge, a charity regatta around the Isle of Wight. Ewan McGregor was one of her teammates for a 10,000 pound prize. Click here for more information about the race. I mean, I guess if you can’t go on a proper honeymoon, hanging out on a boat all day with Ewan McGregor isn’t exactly sh-tty. Especially when he looks SO good.

You know, you hear a lot of Hollywood people saying a lot of the time that they’re really so “un-Hollywood” and they cite a list of “un-Hollywoody” things that they do to prove it which actually only makes them seem totally Hollywood. I would say that Ewan is more “un-Hollywood” than most. Not only because of his Long Way Round and his low key undercover approach to fame, but also because I think he doesn’t actually suck as much cock his peers. He tries to play the game as little as possible. Ultimately some of it is required, the way all of us, in any job, have to swallow some protocol and diplomacy once in a while. But I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone call Ewan a famewhore. And when it comes to faking it to get ahead, I don’t think it comes all that easily to him either, if at all. Have you read his comments about making a sequel to Trainspotting and getting f-cked over by Danny Boyle?

They kept promising him the part. And then they gave it to Leonardo DiCaprio. And here’s how he recounts it to The Times magazine:

"You just don't treat your friends like that. They absolutely made me think that I was playing the character in The Beach and we talked about (filming) dates and moving dates and so on, and all the while they were keeping me there just in case Leonardo pulled out - which is really nasty. And then afterwards, I just didn't hear from Danny for years. When he told me, he was very conflicted and he was very upset, and I spent a lot of time making him feel better and saying, 'No, it's alright, I understand'. And when I went home, I thought 'F-ck!That doesn't feel very nice.' And my wife was furious. I phoned up the producer Andrew (Macdonald), who I felt was part of the team. And I said, 'Andrew, I've just had lunch with Danny and I don't understand. I didn't think that's really what we were about. I thought we were about something else. I really thought we stood for something.' And he went, 'Come on, it was gonna happen sooner or later'. And then I never heard from them for years. I shouldn't really talk about this, but they wanted me to do... Porno. So I got a semi-apology: 'Feel like we didn't handle that very well... anyway, would you like to do Porno?'" (Source)

So I guess he’s not doing Porno.
