Dear Gossips,

Lumos maxima.

LUMOS MAXIMA.

So, last night was the big Hollywood premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. And we’ll be posting some of those photos and stories to the main page and to LifeStyle but… um… something happened this morning that I love more. Because I’ve always been Harry Potter above the rest – and if you are shaming me for this, I DON’T CARE.

The announcement trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them was just released this morning. I missed the world, did you? The Wizarding World. The world JK Rowling created. I mean, yes, of course, we attached ourselves to the kids and the characters and the relationships but we also connected to the school, and the environment, where magic is possible…and real. So while those we’re familiar with have not returned, the world is there. And we KNOW it. In these two minutes, we recognise it. We also hear it. Can you hear it? The subtle play of the signature Potter sound?

Yeah. I officially can’t wait for next November. Oh and Eddie Redmayne? Am impressed with his wand work.

You know what the key is to a great Wizarding World actor? You have to believe that they believe. Like Bruce Willis could never be a wizard. Because he wouldn’t deliver a spell like this. It would look like an actor acting out a spell in a movie. And it’s more than just commitment to it, you know? It’s faith. Eddie has the faith.

Yours in gossip,

Lainey
