Robert Pattinson is in Toronto shooting a movie with Dane DeHaan. DeHaan plays James Dean. And something something something about a photographer who took pictures of Dean for LIFE Magazine? Pattinson is apparently the photographer which, given that he's the bigger name -- so far -- I guess that means he's the focus of the story. Right, but isn't there a reason the stars are in front of the camera? These stories about the minor players that come and go in the lives of the famous -- does this have anything to do with the democratisation of celebrity?
Like, why do I need to watch a movie about some guy who took pictures of James Dean when I could just f-cking watch James Dean?!?
Dane DeHaan looks like a good James Dean though. And it's making me think of him in a way I've never thought of him before. Like, attraction. Right?
