Guy Ritchie is currently working on Knights Of The Round Table. Yesterday he tweeted the first photo from the set, standing next to Charlie Hunnam – his chin lifted as usual – who plays King Arthur.

Did you know that this is supposed to be 6 films in total for the franchise?
So we start at the beginning. Charlie’s Arthur is a young punk who cruises around town with his posse and only realises his destiny when he finds Excalibur. Along the way to becoming King, he falls in love and defeats the enemy. This is the official synopsis:
“The bold new story introduces a streetwise young Arthur who runs the back alleys of Londonium with his gang, unaware of the life he was born for until he grasps hold of the sword Excalibur—and with it, his future. Instantly challenged by the power of Excalibur, Arthur is forced to make some hard choices. Throwing in with the Resistance and a mysterious young woman named Guinevere, he must learn to master the sword, face down his demons and unite the people to defeat the tyrant Vortigern, who stole his crown and murdered his parents, and become King.”
I don’t know why they can’t just say London.
Please let there be a pay-off love scene between Charlie and Guinevere, played by Astrid Berges-Frisbey because LOOK HERE. I want to see that.
But then…
If you know the story, and I’m assuming this is Movie 3 or 4, what happens when Lancelot comes around? Who could they possibly cast as Lancelot to convince you that Guinevere would rather f-ck him than CHARLIE HUNNAM???
