How much are you LOVING Game of Thrones?

SO much, right?

How badass is Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister? Here he is walking his dog in New York this weekend, enjoying some downtime before heading back into production for Season 2. HBO gave it the green light 2 days after the season premiere because, obviously. The show is thrilling. The production value is first class. The attention to detail is impressive. The story is gripping. The acting is solid. I’m up to Episode 6 and I can tell you, they do not let up. Keep watching. Also, sometimes during the Jason Momoa/Emilia Clarke scenes I wonder if Hayden Panettiere’s entire relationship is a botched audition for this show. And I need to start taking notes. Keeping all the Houses and lands and relationships straight is becoming a little complicated.

Anyway, someone asked during the TV LiveBlog last week if Game of Thrones would receive any Emmy love. This would also be the first Emmy season for Boardwalk Empire. I’m thinking they push that through first. However, if there is one category where Thrones could come up, it’s Supporting Actor, and yes, for Dinklage. There’s a little mini-campaign among critics calling for it already.

Game of Thrones airs on HBO and HBO Canada on Sundays at 9pm with repeats all the time. If you haven’t already, you should. It’s worth the hype.
