George Clooney arrived by train to Washington today for his meeting with the President about Darfur. A video of him on The Today Show is attached below. Not surprisingly, The Italian Queen did not join him.
Instead, that’s the handsome John Prendergast by his side. At least it looks an awful lot like him. Which reminds me of the book I wrote about last year, Jane Bussmann’s The Worst Date Ever in which she actually went to Africa to save the children, not for altruistic reasons, but because she wanted him to fall in love with her. And it’s a great, informative, hysterical, enlightening read. Am still not sure if any North American publisher had the balls to take it on, but you can buy it online, and I encourage you to do so. If only they could all be so candid.
