Making good on his promise to help galvanise the Italian community devastated by the earthquake last spring, George Clooney is there to work on a new film called A Very Private Gentleman. After spending some time in LA following TIFF, with Elisabetta Canalis at his side, George and his whitewashed piece of a fiery ass were photographed on set this weekend. Cue up the next bullsh-t story on People.com. Perhaps something about Elisabetta bringing cookies and sandwiches for crew members and reading to the children.

This is George on a break from filming eating a banana and of course in his usual manner charming the locals like a proper movie star. This is the way they are supposed to behave. I cannot stress how impressed people in Toronto were about his behaviour when he was at the film festival going out of his way to make sure no one felt left out. He remembers their names, he talks to the “minions”, he is kind and considerate and very, very chill. Doesn’t freak out around the paps, the fans, his energy is calm so that those surrounding him are calm which is why he moves around without drama.

Ryan Reynolds on the other hand…

Has a lot to learn.
