Earlier this week, we found out that Taylor Swift and Adam Wiley Calvin Harris broke up. Now it’s Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik. It’s the end of cuffing season, is that it? In my experience, it’s a real thing. I’ve been on both sides of it. I’ve been the girl who’s been dumped for the summer and I’ve been the girl who has dumped for the summer. (I also dumped a guy at the beginning of Frosh Week but that’s a separate category.)
Anyway, Gigi and Zayn totally fit the cuffing season timeline: November to May. And now it’s June and it’s over according to…well…every entertainment outlet now although E! reported it first. Apparently they’ve been fighting a lot and have broken up and gotten back together several times in the last month. She’s 21 and he’s 23. Of course they’ve been fighting. That’s all you do at that age – fight and f-ck. And break up and make up. A paradise and a war zone. Which is why E! is saying that they might end up back together by the time you read this post. Which is probably the only way I’ll be writing about him again. Because as mentioned when they first got together, Gigi is the heavyweight in this relationship. Gigi is The One. And that’s why every guy, available or unavailable, within striking distance is now on notice. Bet you Drake had a group thread going about this.
