Forgot to post this about Gisele and Tom at Costume Institute Gala...

The arrivals area was tented heading into the main doors of the Met. Members of the press were lined up along both sides of the staircase but as limos and SUVs pulled right up to the front, it’s generally understood that celebrities can take a moment without being photographed for a moment to adjust, touch up, get a pep talk from a publicist before heading onto the carpet.

Oftentimes the star or the model would arrive with her date, her date would be relegated to waiting for her for while she obliged for photos, looking up apologetically at her unattended partner.

For Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady, the situation was a little different. They came together, they got out of the limo, he ducked his head and dashed up the stairs – too quickly for still photographers to even notice, I caught a glimpse of him just as he dashed into the ballroom… SO CUTE. Hair combed and parted like a little boy going to church! (here he is on his way to pick her up - with flowers!)

So with Tom out of the way, Gisele ascended the carpet. And even in an entirely forgettable dress, even with Cameron Diaz in dazzling purple standing beside her, even fresh faced with comparatively little makeup, Gisele Bundchen is ridiculously beautiful. Like ridiculously beautiful. And not a clone of every other two bit, underfed model trying to make her way up the stairs. And what stings the most? She is totally totally natural. And healthy looking. And smiles a lot. And seemed to be genuinely well liked.

And she met up at the top of the stairs with Kate Moss, they put their arms around even other and headed inside…
