As you know, Gisele Bundchen has been taking all kinds of heat since the Super Bowl for getting caught on camera calling out the Patriots receivers to a group of friends that included, interestingly enough, other Patriots’ wives. Were those the same wives who are meangirling her in the press?
The wives and their player husbands have apparently hated on Tom Brady’s wife for a long time because they claim she’s mega c-nty to them at team events, supposedly judging them for not being Brazilian supermodels. Gisele would say they weren’t nice to her first and isolated her from everyone else. What do I have to do to get invited to one of these functions??? Because I really, really, REALLY want to go.
Anyway, at press time, there’s been no word from Tom Brady and Gisele has not yet offered an apology. Instead, she took to her Twitter today, posting a video from a recent ad shoot for Givenchy in which she is beloved for being so beautiful, on the beach, with the wind in her hair, worshipped by fashion types, and, well, looking like Gisele. And that is to say, um, not like them.
You know she knows the sh-t that’s been said about her this week. You know she knows that people are mad at her. And THIS, this is the first image she chooses to send out amidst all the controversy.
That’s a Pure Bitch Move. Like for those of you who belong to the anti-Gwyneth, when Gwyneth Paltrow namechecks Michael Stipe and you explode in rage and you don’t think you could loathe her any more...until she follows it up with another Pure Bitch Move that only pushes you harder.
But come on now, it’s kind of awesome, non? The WAGs vs Gisele...? Gisele vs Everybody? It’s not like it hasn’t been fun.
