Is she senile? Was she drunk? Both? Whatever the reason, every minute was the best thing ever. And she still managed to be endearing. Completely off her tree, momentarily incapable of reading, escaping to the beach for 5 seconds or so at one point, there may have been a joint involved too…

Goldie makes retirement look good. You can be loopy. You have your regular man. You can mix it up with your other men. Once in a while you put on a pretty dress and get your picture taken. Vacations with the grandkids and money in the bank.

Goldie’s golden years. We should all be so lucky.
