I really, really want Gwyneth Paltrow to join Destiny’s Child. Or maybe what she’s really after is to replace Michelle Williams. Here’s my G in Paris on Friday night with her best friend Beyonce and Kelly Rowland at Jay-Z and Kanye’s Watch The Throne. Kim Kardashian was NOT there. Which, conveniently, is why the girls were so accessible. But come on, admit it. Wouldn’t that make you happy? In a Great Gossip kind of way? To see G in Destiny’s Child formation with a mic in her hand pointing a finger at the camera all “Say my name, say my name...”?
G and B must be really, really, REALLY tight. How many times a day do they text? And about what? When an unflattering photo is taken of Mariah Carey, does G copy and paste it in an email and send it over to B for sh-ts and giggles? I feel like they see each other more than she sees her own husband.
But she did rush home the next day for Coldplay’s second show in London so she could take Apple and a group of young friends. (Source) This might be my new favourite picture of Gwyneth, the mom, laughing through the rain, delighted that her daughter is having such a good time.
