Gwyneth Paltrow’s posted three photos to Instagram this week. It’s kind of her magic number. The first shot was a regram to boast, naturally.
Lena Dunham ate G’s chilli.
Lena specified that it’s probably the only foodgram she’ll ever do. So let’s underline that and bold it, ok? Lena Dunham has never foodgrammed. But the only time she did, it was from a GOOP recipe.
Yesterday G changed focus. This throwback Thursday shot of her with her late father was posted in support of gender and race equality:
International Women’s Day is on Sunday. She’ll be on Bloomberg today at 11:45am ET to talk about the business of GOOP and how she’s an entrepreneur now.
And all this the same week that her best friend Cameron Diaz was quoted saying this about social media:
"The way people use it to get validation from a bunch of strangers is dangerous. What’s the point?”
But you have no choice now when you’re a lifestyle brand, do you? Do you define Gwyneth Paltrow as an actor anymore? Or are you grudgingly at the point where you have to admit that she’s a businesswoman?
Better yet, can we just call her a blogger? That way, she and I have the same job.
