Gwyneth Paltrow was nominated for an Emmy yesterday. Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for Glee, alongside Kristin Chenoweth and Dot-Marie Jones, also for Glee, Cloris Leachman in Raising Hope, Tina Fey for hosting SNL, and Elizabeth Banks on 30 Rock. How hard does that bite your ass?

Lea Michele was not nominated. And there’s my G, getting her name called, hoping to get halfway to EGOT.
If I remember correctly, G’s category is handed out prior to the proper Emmy telecast which means she won’t actually show up on September 18th unless she wins. If she wins she’ll get to present. And she’ll be really skinny and smug. And she and Kate Winslet – they’re friends – will hug each other on the carpet and hold hands at the afterparty. You will be thoroughly annoyed. Now come on, don’t you want her to win??!!??
September 18th is also the last day of TIFF. I’m normally wrapped on TIFF by then and will hopefully be back on my couch, liveblogging the event with Duana, Sarah, and Sasha. Or on Duana’s couch, sitting beside her, not talking to her, liveblogging with her, Sarah, and Sasha.
As for GOOP, it’s been a couple of weeks since she’s sent out her wisdom. Gwyneth, WHY ARE YOU SO LAZY???
She worked so hard on Glee this year she deserves some time off.
