My Gwyneth spent time in New York this week to promote Sensuous, the new fragrance by Estee Lauder. She showed up with the Hurley and the other 2 spokesmodels to work the carpet at the launch…but that’s it. While everyone else gave interviews and signed up for a few other gigs, Gwyneth apparently pulled the bare minimum and skipped out on everything else. Which probably means that “everything else” was not in her contract. Of course not.

Estee Lauder isn’t exactly what people like Gwynnie consider a premium brand. It’s good for a few million every year in her bank account with the least amount of involvement possible… period.

After all, would she be the snot you love to hate if she actually pulled her weight? Please.

Having said that, Gwyneth’s approach to pimping depends on the brand. Estee Lauder is affordable. Tod’s on the other hand ranks among the top. Therefore not for everyone. Naturally then, Gwynnie’s efforts for Tod’s are remarkably more enthusiastic. She’s actually the perfect person to represent them. Tod’s looks great on Gwyneth. Gwyneth looks amazing in Tod’s.

Check out a couple of her new ads attached and click here to watch my best friend looking fierce in a behind-the-scenes video of her Tod’s mini movie directed by none other than Dennis Hopper.

PS. Bonus shot of Gwyneth hanging out with Jay Z at Jonathan Ross. With credentials like these, you really think she’s going to show up at a mall to sign autographs for Estee Lauder? Really…don’t you know Gwynnie?
