After a few days in Cannes earlier this week, Gwyneth Paltrow was in London yesterday. She was there for a talk at the China Exchange, wearing a gorgeous and very on-the-nose red Gucci suit. During the discussion, she told the audience that:
“I think the world is trending towards wellness.”
On the day the UK voted to leave the European Union. Her timing is so often so… hilarious.
She also talked about her favourite movie role:
"My favourite movie I've done is The Royal Tenenbaums. Margot really has a life of her own." @GwynethPaltrow tonight pic.twitter.com/YmflWY9bo9

Before Cersei and Jaime Lannister, there was Margot and Richie Tenenbaum. And I totally think Margot could take Cersei. I do like this quote from G about Margot having a life of her own, however, because it’s a good segue to what G said recently to PEOPLE about her daughter, Apple, who is now 12:
“Apple just turned 12 years old, and I cannot believe it. She’s so tall and she really has her own life.”
That life includes a phone and social media:
“It’s crazy — her phone and her texting and her social media,” she says, adding that her daughter’s accounts are private. She continues, on finally giving in to getting Apple a cell phone, “I waited as long as I could. She was the last one of her friends to get a phone.”
But her friends do all have phones. And not all of them are going to keep their profiles private forever. G will have to stress about teen girl Insta drama, just like you!
