You’ve heard about this already, I’m sure? David Justice, former baseball player and former husband of Halle Berry, talked some sh-t about her on Twitter yesterday. Of course he’s since deleted most of them. But the internet is forever. (Thanks Dlisted!)
Reading the latest Halle Berry Reports,it wasn’t me who hit Halle causing the ear damage. Halle has never said that I hit her.
It was a former Hollywood boyfriend (WS) that she told me ! #getyourfactsright
When she first reported that she had been in abusive relationships, she wouldn’t name the “famous” former boyfriend (WS)..
She was mad at me leaving the relationship so she and her Hollywood Team just tried to destroy my character. It had to be my fault, right?
Yup..Me,Eric,Gabriel and Olivier were all her “Knight in Shining Armor”,until it ends..Then we all become the worst guys in history.
Only the guys in the relationship with Halle know the real deal..there will be another,of course. He’ll be called “The Best” until it ends.
Just wait,Olivier..It’s coming! She insinuated that her daughter wasn’t safe around Gabriel..look it up and see the reason! Just wrong.smh
It just makes me mad to still see the same lie being perpetuated about the source of her abuse being me. Never happened!#formerboyfriend
And then Eric Benet had to jump in and bro down:
My man at @23davidjustice is tweeting some truth dis' mornin'!
— Eric Benet (@ebenet) November 3, 2015
And the David kept on it with interviews with both Entertainment Tonight and Access Hollywood
"Having three kids, [ages] 15, 13 and 11, the careless reporting of me being the one who caused her hearing loss is unacceptable," he said. "That was the only purpose of my tweets, really. I just felt that if I didn't say anything about this particular thing, my kids' friends might read it and assume that it was true. I'm in the community coaching baseball, football, and basketball, and I can't have that."
He further clarified that he meant no disrespect. "I don't have anything else to say about Halle nor was I trying to bash her," Justice told ET. "Nor will I speak on all of the other rumors of our relationship."
As for those who think he’s just doing this for publicity, David says:
“It's not about me trying to get my name back in the media. I'm not trying to get a reality show. I just felt like I needed to say something. I don't like the fact that when I'm brought up there has to be this stigma of this alleged abuse."
Um, speaking of reality shows, you do know that David and his wife were on Celebrity Swap, right?
Yeah.
And you do know that no one gives a f-ck anymore about Eric Benet and he needs some attention for a new album coming out next year, right?
But sure. Let’s rally behind the Halle Berry Ex Club because…wait…why should these assholes have our support?
The Daily Beast wrote about this story in a post this morning by Stereo Williams. Before you read that though, have a look at his tweet:
Like I said, divorces make Halle Berry a "failure" but they make Steve Harvey an expert.

Donald Trump is running for President, isn’t he?
Halle’s not perfect, obviously. We can be mad at her over other issues. But why do we have to be mad at her when she calls out men who’ve been dicks to her? Eric Benet cheated on her, by his own admission. David Justice wasn’t exactly loyal either. Ben Affleck humiliates Jennifer Garner with the nanny, she silences herself, and we call this “classy”. Halle Berry decides to reveal to us that her exes betrayed her and couldn’t stay faithful and she’s the problem? Is the message here then that quiet is better? Serious question.

Here’s Halle last night at the Black Women of Bond tribute in LA.
